Safety is one of the core elements of Vopak's mission. To stress the importance of safety Vopak organised a Global SHE day, which took place at the 19th of March 2008.  At 74 terminals across the world, Vopak together with their partners and contractors, discussed and practised situations concerning our utmost priority being safety, health and environment. The day started with a video message from our CEO John Paul Broeders stressing the importance of safety. Afterwards there was a SHE Quiz, a safety movie was presented and there was the oppportunity to actively take part in safety demonstrations. Regarding safety, Vopak does not make any difference between own personnel or contractors or customers. Safety is a joint responsibility, it's a matter of working together!
